Leah Marie Interiors is a full-service residential design firm assisting clients with full service interior design, e-design, sourcing of furniture, lighting and accessories, selection of materials and finishes, space planning, project management and collaboration with architects, contractors and tradespeople.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Francisco State University, Leah launched her career working with some of the most recognized design firms in the Bay Area, such as Douglas Durkin Design and Marea Clark Interiors. With nearly a decade of experience under her belt, she founded Leah Marie Interiors in 2023, driven by a passion for creating spaces that reflect each client’s unique lifestyle. Leah prides herself on being flexible and adaptive to projects of all sizes. Her signature style blends transitional-organic elements with modern finishes and vibrant pops of color. She believes every home should authentically represent her clients’ values, style, and culture— with a touch of LMI flair.

Leah's roots in rural New Hampshire, where she grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs and a creative family, have shaped her approach to design. She brings a bright energy and a light-hearted spirit to every project. Starting with custom drawings, Leah develops tailored design solutions that meet each client’s needs and aspirations. With over 200 vendor connections at her fingertips, she often says, "anything is possible." Her deep knowledge of design history, craftsmanship in furniture, and meticulous attention to detail makes the design process seamless.

Outside of running her business, Leah is embracing life as a new mom, creating ceramics, trying new recipes, and hiking around the East Bay with her husband, Tom, their son, Beckham, and their Samoyed puppy, Kuma.

  • With nearly a decade of experience, we adapt to your needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable design process. Our access to over 200 vendor connections allows us to source innovative materials and finishes that elevate your space. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we’re dedicated to crafting beautiful, functional interiors that enhance your lifestyle.

  • Step 1: Step up a call with Leah.

    Step 2: Schedule a in person meeting with Leah. There she will review your space, take measurements, provide ideas and design solutions.

    Step 3: Leah will prepare a design fee proposal. If approved, you'll sign the LMI agreement.

    Step 4: LMI will then prepare two design schemes based on your vision, style, and goals.

    Step 5: LMI will implement the design with the desired GC and/or tradespeople.

While we incorporate touches of mid-century modern aesthetics—featuring clean lines and organic forms—we cater to a diverse range of styles. Our goal is to collaborate with you to ensure your space reflects your unique tastes and lifestyle.
